As President and CEO of RGC Resources and Roanoke Gas Company, Paul Nester leads with humility, purpose, and a steadfast commitment to community. Under his guidance, the company has continued its 140-year tradition of safety, innovation, and service across Southwest Virginia. Paul’s leadership extends far beyond business — he has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including Total Action for Progress (TAP), where he champions initiatives that improve housing and eradicate poverty. A firm believer in treating others with dignity and respect, giving his best every day, and leading by example, Paul embodies the values that define servant leadership and make Southwest Virginia stronger for generations to come.
Paul Nester was inducted into the Southwest Virginia Business Hall of Fame in 2025.
